I founded Redwood Academic Prep to give students and parents clarity and a sense of support in the college admissions process. At Redwood, we put a special emphasis on partnering with applicants who are writing their personal statements and supplemental essays. For many students, this is the most challenging part of the application process. But, we believe that crafting your personal statement should be fun, low stress, and that the final product should feel authentic.

I’m proud to say that I was the first person in my family to go to college. I graduated from Columbia University with honors – magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa! Immediately after getting my diploma, I moved to the Philadelphia suburbs and started a career in finance. And, ever since graduating, I’ve been helping friends, family, and countless students with their applications and their personal statements. It quickly went from a hobby to a passion. And, founding Redwood Academic Prep was a natural next step.
